I haven’t posted anything for over a week now! Why? Well, not a whole lot going on in the world (that is worthy of note) and nothing profound has struck me lately and I’m too lazy to answer some of the questions that have been asked! (But I will get to them).

Just wanted to let you know….

Knowing that “[God] removes kings and establishes kings” (Daniel 2:21) and, that ”the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it (rulership) on whomever He wishes” (Dan 4:32) and, that we are to be “in subjection to the governing authorities” because “there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God” (Romans 13:1) and, that we are to “render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor”, I encourage “entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Tim 2:1-2).

In light of the reading contest Brad and I have embarked upon I thought it would be good if we took up the challenge as a church.
